The NUMTEC-INTERSTAHL Group is a technology group that specialises in product identification (marking + reading) in the steel and aluminium industry.

Our headquarters is in Regau (between Linz and Salzburg) in Austria, where all design and manufacture of our marking and reading equipment is carried out.

The NUMTEC-INTERSTAHL Group employs approx 120 people. The turnover was 24 Mio EUR in 2007.

The NUMTEC-INTERSTAHL Group offers a comprehensive portfolio of marking equipment including stamping, needle, metal spray, paint spray technologies. Depending on the application the equipment can be supplied as floor, bridge or robotic variants. Our reading systems are either OCR (optical character recognition) or more recently coded systems, typically barcode.

In 2004 we entered into a merger with MAGNEMAG A/S of Denmark, who like us is a leading specialist producer of marking machines.

Since then NUMTEC-INTERSTAHL is part of the MNI– Group and operates in a global network of production, service and representative locations.
